Liquid Wind submits environmental permit application for large-scale production of green electrofuel in Sundsvall

Liquid Wind is applying for an environmental permit for FlagshipTWO at the Land and Environment Court in Östersund. The permit is for Liquid Wind’s second commercial-scale green electrofuel facility, in Sundsvall north-east of Sweden. Once operational, FlagshipTWO will contribute to a 283,000* ton reduction of CO2 emissions annually. The construction is planned to start in 2024 and the facility will be operational in the beginning of 2026. “We are excited to take our FlagshipTWO plans to the next level, and we hope for a transparent and efficient permit process.
