Flagship EU hydrogen truck project kicks off in Brussels

IRU and members have joined the H2Accelerate TRUCKS project to advance the decarbonisation of long-haul trucks across the European Union.IRU, together with its members FIAP (Italy) and UNTRR (Romania), as well as the Austrian Economic Chamber (through IRU member AISO), have joined one of the EU’s biggest zero-emission vehicle projects. H2Accelerate TRUCKS, which consists of hydrogen producers, infrastructure operators, and vehicle manufacturers, will test 150 hydrogen heavy-duty vehicles on the main north-south corridors connecting Scandinavia to Italy.
